Be Careful Or Credit Card Debt Will Make U Fall 2 Pieces!
Another hot track about credit card debt, penned by a singer/songwriter aspirant
Alright, look. Diary, first of all I am sorry I keep bombarding you with my awfully awful song lyrics.
- But this credit card debt, it is serious business.
- Someone has got to start talking about it in an artistic format.
- So sorry but I just have to do this for myself.
I just gotta write about how Americans need to consolidate credit card debt in order to help pay down their debts. It has been on my mind for weeks on end. My travels have shown me so much about my fellow citizens and their money problems, and how they just can't let go of their credit cards. People need help when it comes 2 this and when the heck are they going to realize that it is right there for the taking? Is his so complicated that I am missing something? At some point credit card debt consolidation needs to get going to stem these problems before the spiral outta control.
U know what I M saying!??!?
Credit card debt and Ashlee's singing career
You see, I feel really strongly about this. Even when you feel like U can never have true credit card debt negotiations and U are about 2 fall 2 pieces - this is the name of my newest original song, coincidentally - and U know zit, U still can't give it up. That is the inspiration for my song. I think it is not just about bad credit, but life in general. Think about this as you let the lyrics soak in. You will see how important credit card debt help can B, Diary. And 1... 2 ... 3 ...
"Fall 2 Pieces: An Ode to Credit Card Debt"
(Lyrics: AsHlEe. Music: aShLeE. Copyright D.F. Diary Music, 2005. All Rights Reserved)
I looked away / Then I look back at my Rewards Credit Card
It makes me buy / $h!t I don't need and can't undo
If I had my way / I'd never get over you
Today's the day / I pray we make it through
Make it through the fall / Make it through it all
** [Chorus] **
But I don't wanna fall to pieces / I just want to sit and stare at my balances...
No, I don't want to talk about
And I don't want a conversation / I just want to cry in front of my ever-increasing debt...
No, I don't want to talk about it
My debt is the only one / I'd be with till the end
When I come undone / credit card debt will bring me back again
Back under the stars / Back into your arms
** [Chorus] **
I just wanna know who you are, dear credit card debts / want to know where to start / I wanna know what all this means
I wanna know how you feel / and whether this debt is real / just want to know everything... everything!
** [Chorus] **
** [Chorus] **
** [Chorus] **
[NOTE: Having a hard time thinking of some new lyrics with which to powerfully end this sad story. Something about how the main person finds the inner strength 2, like, eliminate my balances for good. Is that too unrealistic. I am going for a melancholy feel here. Or, let me know what U all think about this - I am also thinking of an alternative ending in which the protagonist finds redemption in a credit card debt help program of some kind.]
[These are just my rough ideas here, mind you. I may be able to work in some new material or shift the focus of the track altogether. Let me know what U think about all that, and I will revise the lyrics B 4 2 long. I think we have something here I really do, but I want to make sure before I start pitching it to record company execs. In any case, Diaree, I will see you later. I gots some notes I wanna jot down about my plan.]
LOVE,
ASHLEE!
